Porter Plumbing is the trading name of Adrian Porter, a plumbing and heating engineer based in Ambleside, Cumbria. I work mainly in the south-central area of the beautiful Lake District, but will travel further afield for some (mainly larger) jobs.

I am happy to undertake a wide variety of plumbing and heating work, commercial or domestic, large or small jobs, planned or emergency. Please use the buttons at the top of the page to select the type of work that you may be interested in.

That when carrying out repairs I will consider whether improvements might be made
That I will give consideration to the ease of future servicing when installing new items
That I will not automatically replace like-for-like (just because the old boiler was over-sized doesn't mean the new one has to be!)
That I will always be looking for ways to increase the energy and water efficiency of your building
That I will take good care of your property

If you leave a message on my voicemail / answerphone please assume that I am unavailable if you haven't heard back within 10 minutes (I may not have any network reception).
